SO WHAT DO U GUYS THINK ABOUT THE 2008 SCION TC?... I WAS BUILDING AND PRICING ONE ON SCION.COM AND WAS THINKING ABOUT GETTING ONE AND EITHER KEEPING MY CAR OR GIVING IT TO MY SISTER AS A GRADUATION GIFT... IVE DECIDED THAT IM NOT GOING TO MOD MY NEON OUT ANYMORE

 

I like how it looks...but thats about it. For a straight line car it might be a littttlleee bit better. Maybe! and it probably has just a tad bit more potential. However our little neons 2.0 has reached 600whp before. Other than a straight line car...its worse. That extra 300lbs will not only make braking suck but it will be harder on the turns.

just depends what you are doing with it. If you wants look and show maybe its for you. But if you are getting it for performance...idk. thats tough. Especially when yo uhave a car already that can almost match it.

 

kinda slow, looks good and often riced out..... dont rice it out and if u do not care about 0-60 times, then it would be a good car..... i would go with a wrx though

 

my opinions

1. stop yelling
2. nice looking car
3. faster than a neon in stock form
4. will not go fast without a lot of money
5. comfortable DD

hmmmmmm.... theres so much to decide what i want... i guess i just mainly want it for looks... mayb a race or 2 with cars i can beat lol.... i was all into racing and stuff but i think ill just leave that up to gt5 prologue... unless i can find my way into nascar ha!

 

If your buying new, there are many better options for the price IMO (unless its a stripped down bare bones tC...). Not to mention, if you think its hard making your Neon fast...yeah its the same thing with a tC.

 

I love tcs especially the 08s . Im lookin into one in red with the works espcailly 18inch rims and tires and leather seats and interior dressup and intake and bodykit and vertical doors. Also lookin into getting my moms special edtion 00 cracker jack turbo beetle . But yeah I would go with a scion tc and give your neon to your sis for grad gift. My sxt is going to be my 2nd ride . You can do alot into your loan to a tc . They are so cool to mod out from the dealer.

TC'S are nice I have drove some I have drove many other Scions as well.
They are comfy DD and are nice looking cars.
They are a good race car just takes time and money like anything.
I wouldnt reccomend buying the SC kit for the TC. I would def get one of the many turbo kits available.
I dunno what else to say, I was gonna get one but it was Auto so I didnt.

As neonrt said, the price range u can get better. Save a few more thousand dollars and get a WRX.

 

I have to get another ride soon new or with way less miles on it than my sxt . She has 115,000 miles on her and probably will reach 150,000 miles by winter so have to get another ride sooner or later . Just lookin to spend 15 grand to 25 grand for a new or my moms limted turbo beetle.
