I love to see your flow numbers for that statement.

The r/t and srt intake may look similar but the srt outflows the r/t.

and here comes the flamming..... god guys just keep this one on track so this kid doesnt start yet another thread about this..... one sidenote.... don't you have to cut the K-member a little bit to get the SRT4 motor in there?

The kid made a comment... I'm not familiar or have seen any facts to know if one is better than the other and i wanted to see numbers. I would assume his statement is true, as i did. I thought he may have numbers if he making the comment.
You should maybe sit back in your chair and relax, rather than being on edge...

If i had a copy of the flow chart i would scan it in and post it but i don't, your just going to have to take me word on it.
He had this fan thing that controlled how fast the air would flow. He had a tube directly conected the fan to the manifold, with a sensor at the end hooked up to his computer. He put the r/t manifold on and then the srt manifold with the same settings and got a better reading on the srt, unless the computer calculated wrong, the srt does outflow the r/t by a little.
I would go to get the flow sheet but his shop recently closed down due to financial reasons, the shops name was Pat's Powerhouse Perormance or PPP, if you ever heard of them.

There is this company that does Srt-4 Swaps to any 2nd Gen Neon. The link is:
http://www.srt-4store.com/index.php?page=swaps
The swap will be $5500 and it will include everything including labor and a hotel room to stay for the weekend.
They also do Srt-4 interior swaps, brakes, rotors, suspension/ springs, etc if you want to.
By the way, this is my first post!! =D

his intake manifold in an R/T manifold because thats what the r/t's come with in addition to the 18hp better motor.

. As for the SRT-4 manifold out flowing the R/T manifold, I'll have to look into that...I know that the R/T head outflows the SRT-4 head though [8D].
so im just saying that both those manifolds would outflow the one in my neon now anyways cause i have the stock plastic intake manifold and im going with the srt-4 intake manifold.

unless he got the adapter kit right?? is that one dude still makin them or no??

That is to mount he SRT-4's DOHC turbo manifold to our SOHC block.
If he wants a new intake manifold he has:
- Indy Intake Manifold
- R/T Intake manifold
- AMM (all motor mike; on the .orgs)
- ITB's (Individual Throttle Bodies = LOTS OF WORK)
- Leave it stock
I am thinking of getting AMM to make me a new manifold personally...
Anywho...
is the indy intake manifold any good. ive seeen it but i dont know anyone whos actually used it or anything.
i heard its alot of work to make it fit rite.
