This is what you should do.
Get the scratch paint, apply it on dont be shy about it, then wet sand it smooth so it looks like there was never a scratch there.
Be prepared to put many layers of wax on the area at least 10 or else it will ware out and get dull.

If you do it by my method, use 2000 grit sandpaper, can be found at walmart in auto section.

When i did it, no it didn't.
Idk if small scratches will show up b/c you have a nonmetallic color.
Don't forget most of the sandpaper will be directed at the bump in the body more than what is already smooth.
