does any of u that r good with finding stuff for sale on the internet help me out??? i am not good at surching for stuff, and honestly dontknow where to look,but i looked at the chyrslyer forum and did not find any??? anyone else have any ideas where i could find a 04-05 tranny out of either an srt or a pt gt???????????

dealership has them but its gonna cost an arm and a leg. That is most likely where im gonaa get my stuff

i bought the viper engine and trans, i hope it will fit???? lol

i must have missed those trannys on ebay, prolly becuase i kept typin in t850... oops, thanks, now my next question is what is the differnece INTERNALLY of our trans and the srt trans, besides lsd????????????? does anyone know, i also posted on the srt section of DF and hoping to get a responce from both...... but they look close to the same case (external). besides gear ratio... and accually what is the difference in gear ratio from the srts and the se trans??????????? thanks for everyoneshelp....



































will i have to move thefirewall to get the viper engine and trans to fit???????and do u think i will be ableto use my stock clutch cables????? LOL[8D]

 

haha from what ive read the gearing is the main difference, but i may not be 100% on that. the se transmisisons are better for fuel economy where they gearing on the srt or rt transmissions are to allow for quicker acceleration


for the viper engine to work i think your supposed to fill you trunk with bricks to somewhat even out the weight distibution. lol.

 

ok, so..... saying that will my stock se tranny hold up to 400whp???? with a really good clutch, my centerforce duel friction that i already have in it???? because it is alot cheaper and easier to find a se tranny than an srt tranny if something was to happen to the srt tranny???????????????? the gearing for now is fine in my stock tranny.... maybe later down the road will i worry about change out the gears........

 

hmm idk about 400 whp but if your planning on using a srt transmission your going to have to change the axles and inner hubs from a srt as well as the tranny. its also heavier if that makes any diff to you. i guess you pretty much have to go through trial and error to find out if i can withstand 400whp
