i just wanna be safe.... b/c the day after i put the cf hood on i have a car show to goto so i'd rather not show up with a broken windshield if u know what i mean.... its better to be safe then sorry i guess anyways its not that hard to just take some saftey wire, twist it and loop it around the frame or somethin just so i wont have to worry and when i have to open the hood at the show some wire cutters will do the trick... idk we'll see.... lol

Just be glad your ok. You can always repair any damage to your car. I think I will pass on the CF hood.

I just put on my CF hood and didn't think much of it like this.. Mine was off an srt4 and had the latch and everything.. I had my hood poped and walked away.. came back and noticed that the prop had fallen off and the hood remained in the air (from the wind) kinda triped me out for a bit but these are light as hell.. ive had it on for a week.. driving at 120-130km/h for an hour daily and havent noticed any jumps or anything on the hood at all..

Hm thats weird. You just got lucky.
Hey by the way, does the SRT 4 hood fit on your Neon right? Does it have to be modified?

That sucks. I'm surprised that the hood is still in okay condition. It could have been worse.
