Default Greaaaaaat

Not sure what's wrong with my car, but it's driving on it's own. It's revving itself while in gear and is making it really hard to control even with the brakes. When I throw it in Neutral it goes up to 3k then jumps back down to 1.5k and jumps between 1.5k-2k constantly.

I checked the CAI and PCV for leaks...nada. ****! I wonder what it could be. Should I just part it out? [:@]

i would check for a loose or faulty throttle position sensor or maybe a kink in your accelerator cable. its not a big enough prob to part your car out man.

I'm thinking it's got to be something with the TB too. I have an Mpx 60mm. The brake pedal is also hard as hell...I might just take the CAI off completely and see what happens. I can hear the air getting sucked in really loudly. Never did that before...WTF!

Yeah i'm painting the bike right now so the car is more or less on hold...

I'm assuming it's something TB related. But it isn't...sticking on anything. That's the weird part. Nothing could've gotten stuck in the TB because the KN filter is still on there.

My srt did that today. I have been reading up on it and have found that it is more than likely the Throttle positioning sensor.I turned off the car after I got home then headed to work and it hasn't done it since

I was driving and needed to slow down to astop so i put it in neutral. My foot was off the gas but it was as if my foot was still on it, the RPM's kept rising on their own.

Yeah. See when it happened the first thing that hit me was VAC LEAK.

But no...everything is fine. Took the catch can apart, emptied it and still same ****. The car had been running fine...not sure what the deal is.
