Default Brake tips [Done] Pics

Hey

Monday and Tuesday Im gonna change my rotors and my pads. I read all the write ups and such got all the tools and got instructions with the rotors. I also am gonna paint my calipers. I just wanted to ask if anyone had any tips with personal exp, thats all.

if you dont have a rubber mallet get one.... you can use a metal hammer if you aren't planning on using your old rotors again.... sometimes they are reallllly stuck on there so you gotta bang em off good luck!

You have two days to do them, so just take your time and follow the write ups... And make sure you have all the proper tools and stuff to complete the job... Good luck! Take some pics of how everything comes out... Especially the rotors, cause I still gotta do mine when I change my brakes soon.

Yea, I have plenty of time and resources, gonna take my time.

If your still having problems getting the rotors off try using some PB Blaster. Thats some great stuff.

my rotors came right off when i took my caliper. never had a problem um roughly clean up da calipers if ur going to paint them and give them like 4 coats for them to be shiny . u need a c clamp to push the piston back in the caliper

Kay thanks guy. I got c clamps and wedges and tools. Imma goto the car store now and get some more things. Thanks for the help everyone.

Well all the old stuff is off. The painting has begun of the calipers, only took about 10 mins to get all the break stuff off once the car was jacked.



Why I need new rotors, horrrible..



New stuff.
