Hi
I have the following problem:
P1684 Metering Oil Pump Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

How do i fix it.

any help please

i think it just means the battery was disconnected within the past 50 starts

thanks for the reply. i also have the following code P1687 Metering Oil Pump Stepping Motor Circuit Malfunction (not sure what this code means) I recently had my timming belt changed so perhaps something was not refitted or damaged during the process. as a matter of interrest how does onereset yourPCM?

disconnect the negative cable, leave it off for a little bit. But zabushie, don't worry bout the 1684, it should go away, if you disconnect it will still be there.

why would he disconnect the neg. cable.... if he does that he will run the risk of shorting some of the cars electrical systems out wont he...? i thought the negative terminal acted as a ground...? but hey w/e good luck

i disconnected my negative terminal, i think the ground it the positive. But he doesn't have to disconnect the battery, the code should go away by himself
