Are you guys talkin about "air BAGS "?... or some kind of air ride suspension..like in a big rig?
the air bags are the show stuff the act like hydraulics in the low riders, right? where you can hit switches and drop it to the ground when parked?
if those are the ones, I always thought those were known to ride terrible, like you got no springs at all [sm=dontgetit.gif]

 

i wouldnt kno, da guy im buyin the stuff from bought it from dat site. and pablodragon, i heard da rides a lot smoother and yea air ride suspension for slamming da car

 

My cousin said his car rides pretty good with his setup.

 

air struts/cylinders ride pretty smooth bags have the ****ty ride

well air ride doesnt ride bad at all... just do not have the setup set to where u have all the air in the bags.... and i would check the quality on that 700dollar kit.... if it is from airbagit.com or something like that there kits r worth about 10 dollars... a friend of mine put it on his neon and they leak, and do not drop the car AT ALL. (he was lower with the drop springs he had before).. the struts r made for a lift or something... the car has a body kit on it and does not lay out.. not a good kit AT ALL.....

if u r going to do a GOOD setup go with adjustable air sturts... they r very expensive but r worth it in the long run... i was looking at doing this to my caralong time ago, but decided to go with hp, and not show..... and make sure also do go with a BIG compressor, along with a good size tank.. or two smaller tanks... or the compressor will work to hard and all the timeand it will burn up very fast.... bigger tank is important and a good compressor is worth there weight in gold... pritty much...... DO NOT GO CHEAP WHEN IT COMES TO AIR RIDE.....U WILL REGRET IT FOR ALONG LONG TIME...

i am very fermillar with this style setup, helping several people do bagged s10s, and a sick elcamino.... trust me dont go cheap....

if u do not believe me just read some s10 forums or people that have done it for a long time, and have tried things and have experimented.. they will tell u the same thing...

honestly belt driven compressors r better, electric kinda sucks.. but u would have to do alot of modding on a neon to get one to fit....

 

all a air sturt is a bag that u can mount on a front wheel drive car... same thing as a air bag... just different mounting....

i have driven and done both... pritty much same ride quality..... just the trucks i have done where a better quality then the neon i said about earlier..... slambags r GREAT bags.. but i do not htink they make them for the struts (unless u buy them seprtatly, not in a complete unit).... as long as u keep a slam bag from being cut into they r pritty much bullet proof....(psi wise)they will notblow out like some cheap ones will

 

i familar with this stuff to i help my friend with his 94 s10 its bagged an body dropped on 19's with slam specialty bags from FBI. DJ do you know if Cavalier air struts will work in a neon cause i can get 4 of the struths for 50 bucks an all i have to buy then is fittings lines compressor an tank with all of that its only like 600 bucks let me know..
