RE: exhaust
Your probably talking about the hangers. The hangers connect to the extensions off of the muffler to hold it up. From what I can remember, I have 2 hangers also (on both ends of the muffler). I know I was told I can't adjust it mainly b/c it's already welded. The rubber that holds it in place on the hanger, only comes in 1 size from what I was told. If they had a diff. size it could adjust it out almost perfect.[&:]

RE: exhaust
Oh, and Midas welded it in place, could have done a better job.[:@]
First I added the Pacesetter muffler to my stock cat-back system and had Midas weld it. Later I decided to add the remainding Pacesetter pipes to the Pacesetter muffler, then they connected them. It looked ok after the first job, then the last job made the position of the tips look off noticable. I guess the 2 diff. jobs didn't mix.
Like I said, it doesn't really bother me. People don't really notice it until I point it out. People who do notice it have a good eye[:-]

RE: exhaust
You are talking about the tips not being even, right? The 2 clamps loosen and you can adjust the tips independantlly up or down. Mine came in 5 peices I believe: the pipe from the cat to the muffler, the mid-pipe, the muffler, and the 2 tips that were L shaped to go into the muffler. If you are talking about the muffler not being even, bend the metal hanger that goes into the rubber, it might not be perfect, but you can get it close

the 2 tips on either side are just held to the muffler by clamps, unless you had them welded.

RE: exhaust
I love the way my Pacesetter header and cat-back sounds. The sound couldn't be any better. I do believe the performance could be better though. There are probably better systems as far as performance and QUALITY.
As far as the Thermal, it depends on how much money u have and mainly which one you think looks better. I'm satisfied though.

RE: exhaust
I have the pacesetter piping with a 2.5" to 2 1/2" converter into a Borla rear section (used the pacesetter piping because it was free ) And it is very quiet, crusing on the highway it is a subdued hum but a very pleasant addicting hum. Under WOT, all you really hear is the intake. But standing outside it pops, crackles, and sounds really good. Very smooth deep tone.
