yea you dont want to use those. They are five wired relays and are a pain in the as*. What year is your car I will try to pull up the resistor diagram for the doorlocks

I am also trying to install an aftermarket keyless entry. I have the auto start hooked up and just have the lock/unlock left. In the instructions it states that you need relays and I just have not had the time to find the wires. I could also benifit from a write up caraudioholic.
Almost all cars that have some sort of stock keyless entry or automatic locks need 1 or more bypass modules to make them work right. In most cases you can go to the website of the keyless/alarm kit and they will tell you what bypasses you need for your car or truck. They arnt that hard to install once you get all the stuff you need. Also if you start having problems with your car down the road and you have an aftermarket car starter in it 9 out 10 it can be traced back to the starter. I work at an auto parts/ service store and those are the most common problems i have seen
