RE: after market keyless entry
i tryed too, i took the wire for the after market keyless and tryed to tap into the power unlock/lock wire and the motor wires but it didnt work, maybe cause i tryed those wire taps or tap ins or whatever their called, im not sure, the reason why i tryed those is cause of the fact i was/am having trouble striping the existing wires

RE: after market keyless entry
i know on my alarm/starter i have a bypass installed with it. you would need that as to not have to use the factory remote in order to unlock, and then just make sure you have it wired into the locks correctly.
i got my alarm/starter installed and they also did the trunk so that i wouldn't have to carry the factory one around! makes it much easier! if you know someone who knows how to install or even if you have all the stuff the install isn't that expensive.

RE: after market keyless entry
got a small problem, im trying to hook up the keyless entry (aftermarket of course) and when its hooked up when i hit the lock button on the remote it works, it locks the doors, but when i hit the unlock button the doors lock again, do i need a relay or something or do i need to splice into the stock keyless entry module, if so where is it, cause i need to know for the remote trunk release
