Ok, so after the whole bs insurance dilema,I have 300 bucks left.
The neon will be going in for inspection in june, soI was thinking about adding headers.
I read up about the kirk racing headers and I am fully aware they are not street legal but afterI pass emmisionsI would like to install them.
My question is do you think that the noise level will be noticeable thatI don't have a cat, and do you think that a cop that could pull me over tell ifI didn't have a cat or a that I have an"illegal" exhaust system.

good luck on the header... i had ordered from modernperformance and it was on backorder for 2 months... i cancelled and decided im done modding my car...

It took 5-6 months for it to ship from howell...

So according to you guys it is very noticeable that i will be running no cats, if thats the case then their is no reason with going through with this since i pass 2 police stations on the way to work and 1 on the way to school.

you could beat all the comb out of the cat and leave it on so when the cop pulls you over and looks to see if you have a cat you will but you wont...lol

Yeh youtube doesnt really have many vids on this stuff. Well, when i ordered my BBP headers, I had no idea it didnt have any cat. And i don't know about you guys, but i would like to breathe the fresh air that is available and keep global warming to a minimum. =)....(plus it looked difficult to install myself and i didnt want to pay a shop to put it in) So i decided not to put the headers in. I know i sound like a tree hugger, but air is hard to breathe as it is, and i cant stand being outdoors for more than ashort while.
