I haven't drove my car in 3 days, so I've saved money at the pump! lol
Thecar hasbeen on blocks all weekend long waiting on the correct belts for my underdrive pulley.[:@]Damn Holiday weekend and no one carries the belts in the size I need so I had to order them, AGAIN!

Good point ^^^. Yeah its going to be a bad summer with all the rising prices for things. Soon driving will be a luxury like my supervisor said.

Well lets hope the gas prices stabilize or else this country is in for a whole lot more hurting then its in right now.
ptschafer...I'm pretty sure the oil companies have a bigger margin then a penny or two. Now the little guys/owners of gas stations all over the place probably only have a margin of a penny or two so that hurts them when someone drives off and doesn't pay.

Well some of those are approximations, but everything should be within a couple cents from what I could find. Regardless, you got to admit that the $135 for a 55-gallon drum of crude ($2.45 per gal), unrefined oil sucksconsidering all the costthat gets added to it afterwards. I've heard rumors of $200 a barrel oil by Christmas... hope not, but that would really suck.

The rumor you heard might just be right if were supposed to see $5 a gal by this winter. Our next Pres is going to have his/or her hands full. I wonder what we'll be paying next summer.

.We need to make Iraq pay us back for all the money were dumping over there to help build them back up. They should give us oil for free or at a very low cost since we helped them. Its not fair. There getting rich off us and our Gov is still helping them. We have people here that need help.
