Gas... How Much Do You Pay?
It's hard for me tobelieve they can forcast that far ahead . . . but it wouldn't be too terribly surprising if that ended up being correct.
I hit the 40 dollar mark for the first time the other day. We're about ready to break 4.00 a gallon up here. It sucks . . . my grandparents just sold me their 1990 Cadillac Fleetwood for a dollar and I won't even be able to drive it . . . with a 25 gallon gas tank, depending on how low I let it get, it'llcost between 75 and a 100 dollars to fill it back up. The thing onlye gets 18mpg highway.

You know what the sad part is... $4 a gallon is actually right on par with what we should be paying... if you compare what it cost in the '70's and '80's for gas, compared to supply prices and inflation... the $4 a gallon stuff is actually level with where it should be. That's the REALLY scary part... because we're paying $135 a barrel for oil. And England is also paying $135 a barrel... and they are closer to the oil than we are... and they're paying $9 a gallon at the pump.
And for those who argued 5 years ago that the only reason we were going into Iraq was for the oil... HA HA, jokes on you! lol
Just[sm=popcorn.gif] for thought.

You did indeed read that right. It's parked now with about 5/8 of a tank.
It's amazing how fast things can change. Gas prices had been relatively stable (kindasorta) for a while. I need to start carpooling with the girlfriend . . . she needs to get over the fact that she'll have to wait around for a whole freakin hour and a half after she gets off work so we can go home.
