So I was driving a Lifted Dodge Dakota, well lets just say that I couldnt take paying 85 bucks every three days to fill up my truck. So I just picked up an 07 Charger, just a V6 but lots to be done to it. Saving alot on gas, but I wouldnt call 4.05 saving compared to what you are paying.

Damn, still $3.39 again here today (Des Moines)... some states have a lot more added state tax than others too though.

I don't know if this is a proven fact, but it seems to me that when i drive around with a full tank, my gas seems to go down alot slower when compared to driving around with a half or less tank. In fact, the gas seems to go down about 5X faster than when it's full....this is why I always fill up my gas at the $5 mark so my tank is alway full 24/7...my tank never goes below the 1/8 mark.

I'd assume with the extra fuel adding weight, it would be the opposite of what I am saying, but i guess it's not.

gas is now 3.47

I think there is some truth to what you are saying (especially with older cars, but for different reasons)... I don't know about the 5X factor, but I have heard some different theories on why mpg increases with a full tank. Not sure what is credible though, but I have noticed it as well, slightly.

Gas jumped $0.15 a gallon overnight here, now $3.54 (was $3.39 for 3 days)

Gas up to 3.89...just in time for the weekend. It seems as though it does this before the weekend every week around here.
