Most likely the price hike is caused by the hurricanes.

Oil dropped to $104 a barrel... hopefully the prices at the pump follow suit.

But oil futures dipped BELOW $100 a barrel today... that is awesome. The U.S. dollar is stabilizing, which means other countries are starting to **** themselves again.

And speculators are getting nervoud because congress is trying to pass a bill (well, some of the people in congress) that would supposedly tell oil speculators where to go and what to do with themselves... and they claim it would bring oil prices down far enough to give us $2.00 a gallon gas again. Pressure those ****ers to make it happen. I want my cheaper gas goddamnit.

LOL nice day

i bought 100 gallons two days ago at $3.49 a gallon, just incase the hurricane was as large as they were expecting and there was a gas shortage. i wanted at least 6-8 weeks worth at that price. looks like the country lucked out as the refineries at this time look mostly undamaged and should be up in a few days or so. the gas is already $3.69 here. so i saved $20 so far as long as gas doesnt go lower....LOL everyone always tells me im crazy, one of these days i'm gonna be able to tell em, Yeah!, but i got gasoline.

P.S. right before Katrina hit and the gas prices skyrocketed i got 400 gallons, they thought i was nuts then..... shortly after gas went up considerably and there were shortages. i think it was $2.00 then it went up to almost $3... i LOL at them.

lol...i heard if they would have busted then and there was a short in gas then the government would put a limit on how much gasoline you can buy....
so but i lucked out and got gas in ohio for 3.54 and now im out and i would have saved 30 cents a gallon if i would have filled up yesterday or the day before IKE hit.
gas here was 3.64 now its 3.99

every gas station around here is afraid to put up the 4

and when i think of IKE(LOL) i think of Kyles little brother off of south park,im not a fan i just watch it every now and then...

Yesterday, gas here in Alberta went from $1.29 per liter to $1.38 per liter. There's roughly 4 liters to a gallon so we're paying over 5 bucks a gallon right now
