Gas is up to 2.45 as of last night. It has steadily been going up even though last I heard demand was not and supply of oil was still very high. But like we saw last year oil apparently defies standard economics.

It's because "we aren't buying as much oil/gas anymore, so they had to shut down refineries because they couldn't afford to keep them going, so the prices are going back up now."

Love it. ~$2.50 out here.

Oh really? I've heard news of a fire at a refinery recently but no shutdowns. Do you know who is going to win the world series? Super bowl? NCAA football championship? What about the next bank to fail? Are you trying to compensate for something? I must be on the org right now.
