Police headlights
Has anybody modified their headlights to strobe back and forth like a police car? My friend told me it would be just a relay, but I went to an electrical distributor, and they had no clue where I'd start.

Strobes on a car are completely legal in most states, provided that they are turned on ONLY when the vehicle is parked. Same applies for underbody neons.

yes but i'm thinking worst case senario he didn't say how he planned on hooking them up and i could just see an ill placed toggle switch...like in my g/f's car where my knee always hits it(good thing its for the fogs) and get arrested by a cop having a bad day for impersonating a police officer or some crap like that

in that case i kno if u wanna do it cheap there are two ways both suck....autozone has headlight bulbs that strobe in their sport compact section..thats way one...way two is also in that section they sell little bulbs that strobe with a controller buy this then cut the bulb off and run the wires into ur headlights...i'd personally go with part one....but they also burn out quickly
