Default Sway Bars

Look what the UPS man brought me. A nice sway bar kit. Should work very nicely with the springs I have installed already. Rear bar is adjustable. Hopefully I can put it on in the next few days and report back how I like the setup.

awesome, you will need to update us on how it feels. Are the bushings that came with it the good ones, or will you need to get the good ones eventually?

I was looking further at it, the rear bar is adjustable. You have two settings for the rear bar. This is according to them, straight from their directions:

One choice being "full forward/sofest setting"
-reduces oversteer
-use in rain or on slick roads
-use on rough or bumpy roads

The other being "full rear/firmest setting"
-reduces understeer
-use on dry roads and tracks
-use on smooth roads and tracks
-not recommended for wet or slick roads

Does anyone want to guess which setting I'm going to put it on? If you knew me personally this would be a no-brainer. [sm=smiley4.gif]

You should see a marginal difference in your tight corners. Might even pick up a little 0-60 with it as well. I did.

Well after two hours...I got changed out my front sway bar and endlinks and put the new one in and did the rear as well. All I have to say is thank goodness I didn't have a bar in the rear. According to the directions if you do, you have to switch the struts around. I don't really understand why, but I'm just glad I didn't have to do that part. Of course once I got a chance to drive the car it had to start snowing so I could only go so fast because there were a few slick spots. But let me say this, it turns on a dime now. Very impressed with that. Going through corners is a breeze, its amazing. It feels like you are going slow through corners now, even when you're not. I'll only get quicker once I get better tires. Only thing I was expecting basically no body roll period, but it did help with that some. But basically anytime it leans now it just grips like a ****, you can feel the bar stress up and keep the tires on the ground. Here are some pics, first one is of the front bar. The second two are obviously of the bar in the back.

Oh you would. This thing is an absolute blast in the corners now. It feels much more stable now.
