Default Sub Problem

Well i was cleaning my car with the radio on everything was fine my subs were working i shut off the car an nothing out of the subs the radio works fine an the speakers and 6x9's i check the fuses on the amp and the fuse on the cable going to the battery everything was fine anyone know what it could be im not getting any power to the amp the light on my amp isent on? anything? thanks

the blue remote wire isnt getting 12 volts. RCA cables only provide signal


does the head unit trun on?

yes head unit turns on and i took out the deck the remo wire is still hooked up

but does it have 12 volts when you turn thr HU on?

no cause usally when it does i have a blue light on my amp that comes on its not on

well theres your problem.

most aftermarket HUs have a rem wirebuilt in (could fail) theres another wire in the car that does the samething. You just have to find it.

all fixedi had it hooked up to what is ually the remo wire the two blue wire coming off the HU so i hooked them right to the power wire and they work so problem solved thanks 12 volt

so i hooked them right to the power wire
if its hooked up to power all the time the amps wont turn off, thus killing your batt. If your blue rem wire from the HU isnt working correctly. i think its a yellow wire that goes into your HU is the same, meaning 12volts off when you trun your car off then on when you trun the key on.

easiest way to checkis to use a voltmeter or a 12volt test lamp
