Ok, I go to Time It Lube to get my oil changed...(Please Read)
They reccommend services on your car based on your mileage and manufacture's recommendations at those mile marks...
Anyway my car has 86,000+ miles on it and the past 2 -3 times i've gone in they've recommended a Transmission Service($99.99) and a Fuel Inj Service($79.99)
Do i really need these services or are they just trying to make some money?

When was the last time you flushed and filled your Tranny? Also when was the last time you had your Injecters cleaned? If you dont know then maybe you should look into getting it done. I would go to a better place than a Oil change shop. I hate dealing with those guys. Plus all they want to do is make more money selling you over priced stuff that you can mostly do yourself. Thats a funny name for a oil chage shop. Here is called Lube Stop. Mu Uncle fixes all my cars. I can trust him.
I bought it used from a dodge dealership with 60,000 miles on it...do they usually do that stuff before they sell a used car? if they don't, then i dont know itf it's ever been done.
I know i ran a couple bottles of fuel injecter cleaner from autozone through it back in january.

All the big name dealers keep the cars well maintenced. I should know I used to sell cars. When you bought the car you could of asked for the maintence history report. They give the car a certain point inspection usually its a 52 point inspection. Depends on the dealer. Call the dealer or go up there and ask them when that stuff was done. If your still paying for the car they will tell you with no problem.
they will charge u 79.99 for an "injector servious" but all they do is dump in a 2.99 cent bottle of injector cleaner....
i have watched places like that do this kind of stuff before... they r usually a rip off shop and not a repair shop

do it yourself. buy a bottle of LUCAS fuel injector cleaner. its about 5 bucks but works great. throw it in your tank, run till near empty then refill. your done. for the tranny flush, all you really need is a tranny drain and fill. plus it gives you the opportunity to change your tranny filter which btw, a flush doesnt do. jack the car up, loosen the bolts on your tranny pan, let some fluid drain, then remove the pan fully. let the rest of the fluid dran maybe 10 mins, then pull the filter off. replace with new filter (make sure you replace the o-ring, and pop back in place. scrape pan of old gasket and apply rtv sealent on pan to hold new gasket in place. bolt up your pan and tighten to specs. fill with approx. 4.5 quarts of atf+4 and start engine. while foot is on brake, shift through all gears a couple times then apply parking brake. while engine still running, check fluid level and add as necessary. your done. whole project, maybe an hour but thats if its your first time. hoipe this saves you some money.

Lucas is a bull**** cleaner...didn't do anything for my cars and I thew in 2 bottles. I rather run a can of seafoam than Lucas. You might as well pour apple juice in your tank.
You can change your transmission fluid, filter and gasket yourself in an hour for less than $50.

Im 60/40 with the Lucas line. I used some Lucas Power Steering stop leak in my other car last year. Complete waste of money. The compay told me to try 2 more bottles also like the label said. But the label also said it works (i think) almost 99.99% with just one bottle. Plus there oil additive didnt work to good in another car I had some years ago.
