alright thanks for the modivation, i am starting to need it because after this project is done the car will sit till i can get 1600 around to get my block done.... cant wait.... i am getting so anxious because of the amount of people that have there nice cars.... some of them are just beggin to get smoked by the "new and improved" neon....

 

Sounds good, I'm sure you will keep us up to date. I guess I am a bit of a sucker for your car... a lot of people are interested in just appearances, but I'm a 1/4-mile guy, so Im always more interested in what a car's got (and the driver) to get down the road from a dig and see what its really made of... your car looks to be one of those, with attention paid to actual REAL horsepower and REAL drivetrain mods. Please document your work for us to see later! (Or at least me... lol)

 

lol, of course i will iowa, usually when i am out in the garage i am takin pics, i had a 67 mustang and i never took pics of me doin the work to it, and i really wish that i had, the only pic of that car i have is the day i bought it...[:@] and now the neon the only pic i dont have is when i first bought it... oh well i have to find someone in my town with one like it with stock interior to... just to give people an idea of what has been done to that car and the time i have spent on it...

 

yea and send me my damn trace out already... i just need the stock one :-P

last weekend i went to ohio for ppg "paint ur ride like a hotwheels" contest, my friend was top 12 in the nation..... unfortunatly he did not win, so no SEMA for us next year..... but i do have some pics of some cars for all of u (not my car though) i have not even touched it, i have been helpin my friend get his elcamino ready for this show....

it was a great weekend, and do not be surprised if u go to walmart and find my frineds paint scheme on a hotwheels in the near future....

 

quick update, i will have pics up tonight or tomorrow, roll cage is back in the passanger compartment, and repainted, along with alot of polishing for the intake manifold.... should have the interior back in by the end of the weekend, then i am looking at putting two more ten inch subs in my trunk, but we will just have to see

 

I thought you wanted to make 11s next year. Putting in 2 10"s and adding weight won't help at all. lol

 

not really sure about it, it is going to depend if my amp will take two more subs, i can not remember it has been so long that i have bought it... if not prolly will scratch the whole idea
