WellI got my ticket from my accident the other day. I got it for Driving at Safe Speed.(speeding) Its $122 and 2 points. Im fighting it. The judge I have from what I've heard is a dick and the cop will probably show up cause hes a dick too. So I'm gonna say when my car started to slide in the turn that I "panicked" and hit the gas instead of the brake. Think theyll believe this story?

 

Wow another ticket post. You guys like talking about these punk @ss cops f**** with us. Anyway Im sure they heard that before BUT the truth is it happens. I saw that on the news once. The lady panic and hit the gas. So try it and have a good follow up lie I mean explanation.

 

Yea ill say how I was going around the turn and when the back end kicked out i panicked and hit the gas spinning the car more. Then I panicked more when I saw the oncoming volvo suv and swerved in a panic but came back and hit it. Thats actually what happened. except for the panic part. and the "i was only going 35 part" lol

 

There you go. I remember you talking about this before. I thought you been got this solved. Your just now going to court?

 

You could always use the word over corrected that seems to work great. Possibly a low/bald tire? Wet/oil spiled on the road? loose gravel? any thing that you can use to work in your advantage. Go back to where it happened and revisit the accident and look for things that you could use in court. Take a camera with you. Hell if you have to take a bucket of gravel with you and throw it on the road and snap a phot, just joking. Good luck

 

Sorry to hear that, I got pulled over while I was getting gas. Cop told me I went to fast around the turn right near the gas station. He came a little late though.

I would try that little excuse but like fox02neon said use the word "over corrected"

 

Basically this is how it happened. Sharp 90degree turn to the right. in this turn the back end of my car slid out. i corrected to the left and saw an oncoming volvo. i then quickly steered back to the right and was now sliding the way i originally was. but now i was headed towards a pole so i counter steered yet again to the left and just tbone hit the rear drivers-side quarter panel of the volvo. the skid marks were 129feet. Ill say when the backend slid out i panicked and hit the gas instead of the break, this made my spin worse. that combined with overcorrection caused by me "panicking" when i saw an oncoming vovlo caused the accident. the gas-thing explains why my car didnot slow down in time while skidding. It has to sound like i was goin 35. the volvo guy said i was flyin but i dnt think he told the cop this. besides even goin 40 around a turn that should be only taken at 25ish would seem fast. especially if the neon driver "hits the gas" hehe.

 

Whatever happenes just be glad you werent hurt or anybody else for that matter.

 

129ft skid will be hard to explain, like you stated how would you use hitting the gas as a "panic?" I would just run with the idea or over correcting and a case of stomping on the brakes in a panic.
