It's more expensive. Lol j/k.
It does provide less friction ( = more ponies) on just about any dyno test anyone has ever done compared to most oils. I still question whether or not the RP stuff holds up as well over time as other brands though.

-I still use Pennzoil Platinum 5w20. But it's not on the poll so I didn't try. And I use NAPA Gold filters which are just relabeled Wix.
