Ok, this could be the craziest thing I've done with my neon yet. Anyhow I was on vacation in upper peninsula michigan and I decided it would be a good idea to go see this gorge that has waterfalls. Anyhow, well it was off the beaten path. I ended up driving on roads (if you can call them that) that were basically just rocks. The farther I went into the woods, I'm talking densely wooded forest. The worse the road got, my car was bottoming out at times. There was no power lines, no houses, hardly any road signs. Anyway I start to hear this high pitched scratching noise. I'm like WTF is this. So I stopped for a second to get out of my car, the noise stopped so I was pretty certain I knew what it was. Sure enough, I somehow got a rock stuck in between my caliper and rotor and it was grinding on the rotor. About the only thing I had to try and get it out was my pocket knife. I pried at it for a minute and it wouldn't budge. so I said f it and kept driving. Still making this hideous noise. My temp guage was rising...I was thinking oh **** I'm gonna overheat. Well I kept pushing on because thats all I could do. Well I finally got where I was going and at that point my brother (who was following me) and I just said f it as we were so pissed with the road, etc that we just left. Well, I got out again and pried at it again and bingo rock came out. So after driving about an 1.5-2 hours in dense forest on all rock/sand uneven roads we finally made it out onto the main highway. I have to admit I was ****ting bricks for awhile. I just kept saying, I will get my car out of here. Then when we got to the main road my brother got a rock in his brakes also so we had to pull over again and inspect. Got the rock out of his as well and then we were off to the races again. Both our cars were clay red in color from all the dust.
