Custom tire and rim clearance...tight? (pic)

Just wondering how common this is...if you all out there with custom wheels have the same thing goin on... real tight clearance on the rears from that lower stabalizer bar (?) ..if that's what its called...
My set up are 16x7 MB Drifters with a 38mm off-set, tires are Kumho Exsta 205/50/16's
stock suspension
also a heads up for those who might want to mail order rims/tires and pop them on yerself...just be careful with the measurements

Do your wheels rub at all?
i have 17 X 7.......205/40/17..........40mm offset and i have no rubbing at all.
perhaps it is the offset that makes it really close.

i put a set of srt4 rims and tires on my neon and they started to hit the strut perch. im tryin to sell them but is there anyway to make it not hit so i dont have to?
