P 0340 ?????

ok so i know its "Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction"

but what does it mean in english and how do i fix it.

ok that is a very serious engine code, try to avoid driving it anywhere but a repair shop... seriously that is one of the DREADED CEL codes.... keep us posted

Possibly it could be sensor is bad. could be your wire has gone loose. we had a neon in the other day. replaced the sensor and the code came back. well then we checked the wiring it was one of the pins in the conector came loose. fixed for him for free.

oh take it to a repair shop.
Dont waste your time (and money)...the sensor takes all of five minutes to replace and is uber cheap at your local auto parts counter.

Like i said before. you can do what 03 said but before buying the part check your wiring just trust me.
