when i painted mine i took off the caliper and painted just the caliper, not the spindle, so my caliper does not look so big... but the spindle is all black

Hey I got a 2 yr old and a 6 yr old... and a 12-yr old step son too. Very cute kid you have, but I would say if ur kid looks like you, then you must be the bass-player for Korn lol... if you think about it, thats not a bad thing cuz he's probably swimming in $$$... which means u can donate to us so we can all drive tricked-up Neons lol

um well im sure about an hour for a good scrubbing and painting.you want to scrub the crap outa your brakes cause the rust will pick off.and i painted my rims along time ago but i cant get new ones cause i have a broken control arm...ugh...btw im going to edgewater its in OH and ill post some pics when i go tomarow(sat)

No, it does not need to be high-heat paint... the wet boiling point of the average brake fluid is between 240 to 270degrees... if the OUTSIDE of your calipersgets even close to that hot,imagine how hot the pads and inside of the calipers are...bottom line, if they get thathot, then the paint is the least of your worries.About the best paint is something durable, like a nice metallic paint or similar. A paint kit for calipers is a good choice because it's more of an epoxy, and its more resistant to "staining" from rust and brake dust.
