No, didn't cut them (althought the thought crossed my mind). Used "spring adjusters" which are basically mini compressors made out of hardened steel... and let me tell you if you try them, they are a PAIN IN THE A** to get them set right. I literally had to go back-and-forth with the passenger's side like 6 times before I was happy with it.

Ahh, those clamps are a pain, thats why we ended up cutting one of my buddys springs. We tried the clamps, like $30 from autozone and couldn't get it to look right. It took about 30 mins with an angle grinder and it was done. But, if you do it wrong pieces of spring can shoot out and hurt pretty bad.

I know that you wanted to aproach a "leveled" neon, but as we all know, the neon comes with the front lower than the rear stock...so by doing what you did, you are only just making the frontmore lowthan the rear...[sm=smiley17.gif]

Now in the meantime, I just got the complete 04 Neon and SRT4 Dodge Service Manual and Diagnostic Manuals as well, all in PDF form... about 3000+ pages and illustrations between all of them geesh lotsa good info.
