Default Power Control Module

I want to change my Power Control Module on my 2005 dodge Neon sxt to a Jet performance chip, I am unsure to where to find the old one.. If anyone can help let me know.

i believe the pcm is right in front of the air filter (providing that you have the stock setup) but towards the bottom of the radiator. thats where mine is. hope that helps

i am just curious, why is the jet pcm a waste for a neon? i mean with little to no mods i can see it being insufficent, but with some work done, it still wont help any?

nope. your car will not be affected what so ever by the chip.

and since its and 05 you still have to deal with the ngc computer to.

nope. I think its all 2nd gens that have the ngc. don't quote me on it though. it could just be 03 & up. eitherway jet does nothing for neons. One of the only ways to get a good "tuning" is by using MS(megasquirt) and you could talk to DTJ or Mikey on that subject as mikey used to have it and DT currently is workin on setting his up i believe

Agreed, don't even bother with the a "chip" or anything like that unless you win the lotto and you're just curious. Short of a total ECU re-flash with some slick program, don't even go there... it's not worth it.
