Hello all

I just joined Neon Forum last week and here is what happened. I got the dreaded email from my daughter last night she was in a place she shouldn't have been, with a person she shouldn't have been with and she totaled ours/her Neon. My wife had just sent out the first payment for it last week on it too.Not sure whatwe are going to do about getting another Neon or another car right now.So thanks for all the tips and I see you down the road.

Damn, that sucks man. I am guessing your daughter is a teen that just started driving with her first liscence?

ouch...I'm assuming she is alright? That totally sucks that you just got it and now its gone. That whole new license thing is like impossible to miss sometimes. I knew someone who just got their license and he was going to be late for work. Started rushing around a freaking out and I leaned over to my girl friend and said, "if he doesn't calm down he is going to get in an accident." They leave and a minute later(a block down the road) she gets a call that he hit another car. He was fine and then I just burst out laughing lol. He had his license for 2 days lol.

Don't be too angry with her... b/c it could have been worse... she could have been hurt or worse killed, so all i have to say is I'm glad that your daughter is ok, and I'm hoping that the damage isn't as bad as you think (ie. repairable)... and don't forget to post the whole story with some pics... so we can all cringe and squirm in our seats here... lol

 

Hey thanks for the support, yeah she is fine I glad for that just really shook-up. I know kids today think they are indestructable. I saw the pictures and they were not pretty. She had gone to the beach the week before and some A**hole had smashed her driverside mirror and so we had just ordered a new one at $325.00 for it. We were able to cancel it out because the Dodge dealer didn't have one in stock for a few days. That would have been some icing on the cake if it had been replaced.

I'll try to up load the pictures as soon as I can figure out how to do it. Can anyone tell me how it's done. Everytime I try it rejects it.

theres a little yellow square with a mountain and a sun on it on the little bar with the bold and stuff on the far right just upload the pictures to something like photobucket and put the link in there and it'll do it for you.

 

Don't buy another neon. Take this as an opportunity to get a G35
