My stock muffler rotted out on me, so I threw a cherry bomb in place of it, sounded ok I guess. I like the sound of my SRT catback(no glass pack, stock resenators). I've been pulled over 3 times with it, but the cops never said a word about it, and 2 of them were ******.
well im puting a cut-out on mine in a week so wish me luck cause if it sounds like crap then its gona cost more to get it off.

wtf when did I say it sounded like crap, I've never heard your high dollar stainless glasspack. I said it sounded ok with a cherrybomb, on my car. You really do need to calm the hell down, once again not a bash, just some advice.

Anyway, I had to drive my car to a shop with nothing from the cat back, and it was loud as hell and shook the whole car. My car is quiet now, when Im not on it. As long as your smart enough not to get on it in front of a cop, they won't say boo.

lol ill be a cop in 2 years and i know all the cops(4 citys).+ where i live is the 4th biggest city in KY so they really dont care.i just heard a 2nd gen with a glass packand it had no rumble,no beast.i was embarassed by it cause it sounded like a louder stock muffler with a little canny noise.other people might think it sounds good and it might, but the one i heard was out of my leage.

I had a short cherry bomb on mine, it was loud. Just a little too loud, it actaully was louder then my srt exhaust. It cost me $13, and was a cheap fix.

Yea, I got rid of it as fast as I could, sold it to my buddy for $20, paid $50 for my srt. As far as the cutout, i think it was already said, your going to lose power. Only way you gain from a cutout is if your turbo'd. Alot of the hondas here either have fart cans, or no muffler.

Just dont like when someone puts down something that they heard on one ride or seen on one ride and is not like that on everyride. Like you heard a glasspack on maybe with a stock muffler or a can muffler and not with a dual exhaust on that 2nd gen neon not all sound like what you heard. Mine sounds really nice and not like a ricer .
