Default TENZO R GF2 LOWERING SPRINGS

Hey I just ordered these springs:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...21865&rd=1

They lower the car 2" - 2.5". Are these any good?

Only if you like to bottom out every foot down the road, they are way to low....

That is still so low, but it really depends on your area.
I have 1.8fr and 2.0 back and there are places i can't go, you may not make it over speed bumps that low, just letting you know

So if I wanted to do a 1.5" to 2.0" what would be the best springs to get?

Here are some:

http://www.modernperformance.com/pro...oducts_id=1677

here is some info about springs like the ones you just bought on an srt:

2004 Dodge Neon SRT4

Vehicle Miles:
60,000

All Suspension Products on Vehicle

Location:
dublin, oh
Shocks:
Stock

Driving Style:
Spirited
Chassis Products:
N/A

Miles of product use:
1,500
Spring:
Eibach Sportline Spring Set

Satisfaction Rating:
3
Coil-Over:
N/A

I must say that this was the worst set of springs I have ever driven on. I installed these springs on my SRT4 and while they do improve handling with regard to cornering; they are the WORST riding springs. The car bottoms out everywhere; every time I hit a bump my car bounces to the point where my passengers ask if something is wrong with my car. And then to top it off, my right rear shock seal blew out and now I have to buy another one at the tune of $150. I should ve stayed with the kit I have always purchased in the past, the Eibach Pro-Kit. I will give that kudos because I have had them on 7 other cars with no problems, no bottoming out, and no blown shocks! Review submitted: 2008-01-26

So I wouldn't have to worry about my car bottoming out wit a 1.8" to 2.0" drop with these springs?

You can make it over speed bumps and make it your everyday driver, but it all depends on how the roads are near you. If you live where the state doesn't take care of the roads i don't recomend droping the car alot, but if you got well maintained roads they should be alright, just warning you of the harsh ride.
18's + lowering= very rough ride, although you can make up for some of it by getting better struts/shocks.

Thanks man...I'll stick with the eibach pro-kit. A 1.5" drop is good enough for me any day. And yesI do have 18"s...lol
