Default Valve Covers

Is there anybody that can give me some info on painting or powercoating the valve cover for my neon? I think that it would look better with the polished K&N CAI if I got the valve covers to match.

Im just going to use engine paint for my valve cover and going to do custom lettering on mine and doing it a nice bright red to match my engine bay or find one in cf which is pretty rare only for srt4s Ive seen them in.

your talking about the mopar valve cover, you can find it here:

I think that is way to much money just to spend on a valve cover, there is a guy on ebay that powder coats them in many different colors for less than 100 bucks, did i mention no core charge...

Not really lookin for one for my sxt since they only make them for the srt4. Painting is the only way to go and cant powercoat are valve covers only the r/ts ours arent metal. Saving the cf valve cover for my scion whatever I get .

It also fits our 2.0 sohc not just the srt 2.4, it would also fit on the pt cruisers 2.4 n/a.
The valve covers don't have to be metal, theysome how coatthem ina type of metal before its powder coated.

Im not 100% sure, but if it could stand up to the heat of an engine, Im sure it could last in a powder coating oven.
