went to u-pull-it to get some trim pieces, and my friend Joe talked me into buying the front seats out of a 04 neon SRT, are these gona be drop in replacements for my stock seats in my 2003 neon sxt? or did I just blow 200 bucks on nothing? they're damn nice seats.....

You should not have any problem with the fit. I sure hope so since I just bought an srt 4 for the parts. Good luck.

thanks for the info, if the SRT hadnt been wrecked, i would have taken the hood, and front/rear bumpers. but she was pretty well trashed was a VERY nice car when she was new, saphire blue [:@]

 

did it have a custom paint? But yeah i believe their a direct replacement. Ask adionik i think he has them in his neon

 

Just checked the body service manual... it is a direct replacement... the bolt patterns on the seats is exactly the same no matter what. Good deal on your part, have fun with it.

 

yea payin 200 for those seats is a steal. they sell for like 400 plus

 

what sized socket am I gona need to take them out? I baught a socket set at work today, and normal fractional sizes dont work....

 

My upstream O2 sensor took a 3/4" socket and wrench... you can't use a normal socket on the sensors though because you need to make room for the wires somehow... so rent an O2 socket from the parts store (it's just a socket with a slot cut down the side of it for the wires to run through) or find an old deep-well 3/4" socket and cut a slot in the side of it yourself, rig something up, etc... I was able to cut and grind and old 3/4" wrench to break mine loose and spin the rest out by hand, and backwards vice-versa putting the new one in.

 

it's 15mm, in case anyone wants to know lol

 

Yeah have fun with those viper inspired seats I loved my acr seats when I had my acr. Makes me miss her .
