Just FYI N3ON, you can do it pretty quick, and I was able to get the adhesive off quickly just rubbing it with my thumb, and the rest with some rubbing alcohol, but it will take you more than 5 min to get it all done... 15 at least lol.

Mine was dark grey... Im thinking that at some point, DCX changed their adhesives or suppliers or something. Older cars like urs are probably more fine. NGCs like mine are probably more prone to being f****. Dunno.

Nah,wasnt super glue... it was just double-sided dark grey foam adhesive from what I can tell. It came off fairly easy in fact. I just grabbed a hold of the edge and ripped them off. The remaining adhesive foam on the car I was able to just rub and "roll" up off the car with my thumb. The residue leftover came off fairly esy with a rag and some light 70%isoproyl alcohol. Its the design and layout of the foam strips that grinds my ***. Now that I see them and the effects, its pretty obvious to me that this was doomed to happen to my car just from the basic layout of the ****. It was designed to hold dirt and crap and water IMO... doomed to fail.
