Tires say max 50 and even if it were to get hot down there the psi still wouldn't go past 47, i hope. lol

Well I understand that, mine also have a max fill of 50... and I also have 205/40/17"s, but anything over 32 in the back and I get obvious uneven treadwear (bulged tire) which is also verified by chalking. Anything over 37 or so in the front starts doing the same thing for me... just saying.

chalking?
"Chalking," the term used. You could us e real chalk, but sand, dirt, or anything else works just as well. Basically clean the treads of your tires up, then drive your car straight on flat ground/pavement through it. The dirt/sand/grime/debris/chalk/whatever will make contact with the tread and stick to it... and make it obvious to show wher your tread is touching the ground as you roll. If for example you do this and you only have a 3" wide "chalk" spot onthe center of yourtire all the way around, then you are probably are over-inflated...

Those look awsome wow. Thats a long time to be rubbin on metal. I think after about 10 minutes I would have gotten the DA sander out. I believe you can get the surface straighter using DA then your fingers, and a hole lot faster too..
