spring clamps

Default spring clamps

has anyone tried useing some clamps on there spring.

i hear they are safe and dont cost alot at the local autoparts store.

but im wondering if anyone has it on there neon.

i have lowering springs on mine but want to get that extra inch or 2 to make it look better.

also looking for a kit to not make me weld or have to take the strut off since i just got it
alligned.

well if any suggestions let me know.

I just did this to my Neon a little over a month ago. The car you see in my avatar and sig is mine, and the result of using the clamps ("spring adjusters") on stock springs. $35 total investment, used 8 clamps to keep the springs even. Car actually rides decent.

I can post more info for you soon... I believe mat663 was also asking me about this as well. Also click on the "IowaNeon04 NEW PICS" thread I put some more info in there about them. BTW you can put these on without taking the struts off, or even removing the wheels for that matter.
