No seriously though, this is a good point. If you have an unexpected "rice-pass" over a faster car, or especially if you are just crusing next to one, and have the ***** to free-rev it and slam into lower gear @5000 rpm and launch away on a roll (and you have a nice loud exhaust to back it up)... between the noise and unexpected launch, it can usually make you look much faster than you really are... I actually got an SRT4 to give up on it one time (in traffic) by doing this. He stopped at the next light and asked me if mine was actually an SRT as well... I laughed and told him the truth, I dont know if he believed me. Of course, quick-shifting li ke a SOB always helps too... theres a lot of people with fast cars that simply shift li ke a granny, and lose all that time hanging out between gears...

RE: Think I can Take a
NP, and yeah, I here that a lot too, and a lot of times I hear that whole "suspension first" quote, it never really gets followed with a reason why (whether its for just looks, or actual performance)... but given the overall handling of the car, I dont see why a drastic need is in order to run out and buy better **** right away... especially since it is a Neon in thefirst place.I lowered mine a bit, but that was more for looks. I suppose lowering the cars center of gravity helps more with handling obviously, but I wasnt too worried about that. Im not road-racing my daily driver lol.
EDIT: Anyway to follow up, that list on the last page isnt too bad, but I used to have a link to a site that listed hundreds of vehicles and was more specific, it was pretty informative. I have been looking for it and cant find it... I guess if anyone wants to know that bad, u can find it yourself lol.
