Here is a great example of what salt does to the hood of a neon.

I am looking foward to this winter season on my max performance summer tires, I think i will just get so much traction...(<sarcastic) I decided not to buy two stealies and summer tires to save money, so i will have a fun winter..... Bad news srt wheels will see the horrid road salt of the northeast.

Yeah, my hood has lots of little tiny chips on it. But nothing like smallblocks picture. And they throw PLENTY of salt around here. They throw it like they have a surplus of it.

Yeah i made that hood scoop myself in fabrication class. The hood is my moms fault it use to be her car and she rides the salt trucks ***. She let me buy it off her for 2,000 and i love this car. I'm getting the hood fixed soon.

SRT....don't bother withe the summer tires. I've been there and done that. If you want a challenge, then I would suggest you try it. Because its hard as hell to control on snow. I drove my car with some worn down kumho supra 712s because I put my summer wheels on a tad early and the snow came back and I was too lazy to swap the snow wheels back on. In michigan we need big *** signs to measure how much snow we get.

I really am not worrying about it, If the roads are that bad work calls up and says don't come in and even if they don't call i have two awd vehicles i can choose from, if the parents let me..... I just now that i am going to get stuck at school because they wouldn't let us out early enough to beat the snow, thats what would worry me the most. I noticed 3 large hills i would have to get up and down on the trip to school that I went over when i went to an interview at the school...
