I believe that the type R is slightly longer than it needs to be. Either way your going to need a heat gun.
I'm going to go outside and throw a bucket of hot water on the car to see how bad these little nicks are.
I think my father just went out to go look at a 95 dodge ram w/snowplow but I could be wrong.
Edit: I just got done with my mini clean and its not so bad, from 5ft away you really can't see them but with 5ft they are clearly visable. My upper door pillar has about 10 dots on it and along the side of the car isn't terrible, the bumper got the worst of it by far. My two srt wheels that have the clear on them are taking a beating, on one side the clear is coming off on the other the actual paint is being peeled off, so this marck I will have to do them again but this time I will definately use a different brand clear because the duplicolor sucks.
He just came back from looking at the ram, the guy wants 1k for it and all it needs is a new brake line. My father might buy it, he is undecided right now.

I've been pretty good actually, just working tons of hours while going to school at nights and trying to find time for my new fiance. Got a promotion at work, moved into a new apartment, got a second car (Mazda 6), and just trying to stay on top of things kept me off the forums for a while...but hopefully I'll be around more from now on.
Anything new in the Neon world since my hiatus?
Anything new in the Neon world since my hiatus?
So I had to go out and get some food from a supermarket about 5 hours ago, I was doing 55ish and a plow truck was doing at least 40 and was spreadgin some road salt. So I got with in 10 feet of the truck and saw the salt coming out and I thought to myself **** this isn't going to be good, so I floor the brake pedal and try to get as slow as I can but I only get down to about 47 and then all that salt hit the freakin car... My hood, bumper and drivers side of the car now have hundreds of small dots all over them, the salt went right through the clear and base coat but couldn't get through the primer. The thing I hate is that the spreader is at the exterior mirror height so its like they designed it to destroy people cars, those dam peices of salt were bouncing off my car like a pinballs. Since the car is so dirty I can't really tell how many there are all together but my hood is pok-a-dotted with greyish white.
So what happened to Smalls hood?
They don't throw that much salt here, MI has cut a lot of their budget for snow removal. Plus, when it snows here it usually snows a lot so its kind of useless to throw salt until its done snowing. They only plow the interstates and main roads regularly, the rest of them they get to them when they get to them. Luckily I have not had this salt thing happen to my car yet.
Same here Low. Man we have between 6-8 in of snow already. Its been snowing non stop since last night. Its now snowing a inch every hour. Man I have to go to work tonight. If its too bad Im calling off. I hope they dont close the highway I take. If so Ill have my Garmin so Ill be OK. Im going to sleep now.
