Hey....I have a 2002 Neon Le "Rage" I wanted to buy a Cold Air Intake off of EBAY....good parts....affordable...newayz all of the air intakes say they won't fit any neon with ABS ???????? I believe my car has ABS and i was wondering why is this? and how can i get around it? if you do have an answer could you please EMAIL it to me!!! @ Dj_plutonium@hotmail.com I would really appreaciate......thanx alot

I dont know which one you are looking at on ebay...but a lot of them are cheap ones (in quality) and most of them are hot air not cold air...a good one that sometimes is on ebay is the aem cold air, the others are you get what you pay for..you pay 25 bucks for something that is supposed to be 200 then you know the quality is not all there cause there arent many people out there that would be willing to sell a 200 dollar intake for 25 bucks

true...but does aem make an intake that will fit one wit ABS and how can i gain quick HP?

 

nwell it says on ebay there is a k&n fenderwell intake...would it be any good? its 90 bucks

 

the fender well is good, one that drops down near the bottom of the motor is better. Check out the iceman.

 

yeah the iceman is like 210 compared to 90 is the power diff really 120 bucks better on the iceman than that k&n lol

 

most neons dont have abs except the srt-4 and possibly the rt any alluminum piping that attaches to the throttle body and goes into the wheel well behing the left headleght with a apexi filter will give you great gains in hp and great sound and a tornado in front of the throttle body will give power too along with gas mileage just make sure it's in there all the way or else it may come loose but it does work

those tornado things are crap, you might as well get one of those +25 hp chips off ebay if you believe that they work. Some do have abs, it was an option and not a lot of people took it. Yeah any intake that gets the cold air into the intake is good. Fender well intakes are good, but as I said before the ones that drop down by the battery box and to the bottom of the engine compartment are better. You can make one, but I would say the iceman is worth it.

 

aigt cool...i got this question also....alright my car is an 04 and i took the top of the airbox off..what does that do? lol i know it sounds hella good but does it do anything besides decrease the gas mileage? lol
