I was wondering if anyone from MI plans on goin to the 28th street metro cruise in a couple weeks? (Aug. 22 and 23) Maybe I can finally meet some DF members!

 

Where does it begin and what time is it? I probably will be working at that time like normal.....

 

I'm pretty sure it starts early in the day and lasts until dusk when the cops break it up. All the baddest rides around just drive up and down 28th street from Cascade to Grandville. I'm sure you've seen it before, its hard to miss.

 

Believe it or not, I have not seen it. I've lived in the metro area for about the last 8 years. I only knew of the cruise for the last few years, but I've always been busy at that time. I also avoid 28th at all costs unless I have to drive on it. Isn't the woodward dream cruise in Detroit around this date?

 

Probly lol. There is also a big show in Saginaw in a few weeks, and something goin on in Muskegon on Sunday.
But yea, since you've never seen it, be warned: 28th will be jam-packed, bumper to bumper pretty much all day. So if you don't have the patience (or enthusiasm to check out all the cars) then I would avoid it.

I can meet up, don't have to work that weekend... but depends on what city this is in

maybe pic a spot near it for the Dodge or Neons to meet up!?! missed the other Dodge museum meet cuz of work
