That is the only reason I went for a cold air intake. Until I found out that it sounds like you are pushing NOS through your system, I was just going to get a K&N replacement stock filter.

I just purchased a CAI off ebay for $37 shipped....Plus my buddy has a K&N filter that will fit it. SO thumbs up for going that way. Its cheaper plus even if the name brand is slightly better, its not enough to beat the price IMO

lol.
nice going with the intake.
has anyone ever thought about modding the intake ??
i was thinking about getting a small front mount intercooler and extending the piping from the cai to the intercooler which would make it run more air then get cooler air too meaning better but idk.

no one else has ever said anything liek that.
i might be the first to try it on mine if i do it in like a month..

any ideas on yes or no to do it ?

Would be a waste of time and money. Will make no significant improvement.
