Ha ha ha... yeah I got the entire DCX service manual set, and diagnostic tech manuals as well. 3300+ pages. Woo-hoo.

Without quoting half of the manual on here though and taking down the DF server (and pissing off DCX for copyright violation), I would suggest that maybe you have a water pump starting to go bad, just by the behavior that you described. Something to consider.

Me niether. They were "given" to me.

You know how much those would cost if you actually bought ALL of those? It would be cheaper just to buy another Neon... lol

Vacuum leak? Get it vacuumed out?

Um, you might want to double-check some of that again before you suggest it.

so i took an air hose to my radiator and got rid of all the bugs and build up in it and blew off all the rest of the dust in the engine compartment area. My reservoir was a lil low so i filled that up and revved up the engine and all of a sudden the radiator started sucking it all up so it must of been pretty low. it was funny cause my reservoir was like shaking when it was sucking it up. then i topped it off. I dont think it has anything to do with my thermostat or coolant sensors. We will see how it goes the next couple days.....

Hopefully you caught it fast enough so that no damage was done to the motor.
Did you let the motor sit idling for at least 10 minutes to make sure you didn't need to add more coolant?

well my car started getting hot again. I think its time to just buy a new thermostat and hope for the best. My car is around 110,000 miles now so it wouldn't hurt anyways. should i get my coolant flushed out as well to make sure there is no air in the lines and that the mixtures are right and all that jazz? how much would getting that done and the thermostat replaced run me u think??
