Ok so I am modifying the DOHC intake manifold and in order to do it right I need to make the ID of the runner smaller where it meets the SOHC head. So would you guys trust JB weld inside the runner of an intake manifold? Thanks

I would only trust it if it was done properly in one piece all the way around... something that can't fit into the port no matter what...

Have you considered just P&P the head instead?

 

I have considered doing the head but i need the car running. i want to pick up a head and work on it over the winter. maybe i should just wait until I get the head and go from there.
