Hmm, well I take it as a swap/add-on to the OEM diff. I guess I wonder what kind of quality and durability we are looking at with it... really not sure on what the answer is for that, but it sounds like a good deal.

As far as your estimate... it seems like our mind always tricks us into going lower than it really is, lol.

yeah, no kidding....i am kinda worried about the durability of it myself.... as for my estamite, it is all the things that i WANT, not nessasrly need, like a tranny rebuild, motor mounts, (solid, boomba prolly) u get the picture, not all of it is a need the biggest need i have is the engine block.... and well i need to get the diff figured out to.... i wonder if i called modern if they could tell me how good that product accually is? any of u ever call there tech support? are they helpfull or a waist of time like howellauto is??

I'm pretty sure the engine mounts are the same...only the transmission is different.

I was more curious about the possibility of actually mating the T850 to a 2.0... and if you could, would you really want to?

if i am as slow at work tomorrow as i was today i think i am going to try to call modern and see what they say about that phantom kit... see if they have had any problems with it. exc exc...

as for the mounts i am also going to see if the motor mounts r the same as well... i can check in the computer at work to see if a 04 srt and a 02 neon take the same motor mounts... i did not think about that till just now, lol

Same bellhousing bolt pattern and a T350 works with a 2.4L engine (PT Cruiser anyone?)...you need the axles from the T850 as well, which means you also have to upgrade the knuckles/spindles and what not to make it work. And with the T850 you get a stronger transmission, many more aftermarket options (there's a company that can make you CUSTOM gear ratios for it too) and the only thing you really have to "worry" about is that pesky 3rd gear issue that some people have...
