Dealership will rape you for it.

But for some reason, WalMart is carrying Mopar stuff now YAY. I picked up the good Mopar ATF+4 at WalMart for $4.50 a quart. Good times...

my walmart doesnt.

if i was to change the tranny fluid on my newer lower milage neon, i would insist on the mopar brand, but when i changed it on my old 96 with 103k on it i just used a major brand from NAPA. just changing it that time really made a world of difference on that 3 speed.

Hmm, that sucks. The WalMarts around here started stocking it about 2 or 3 months ago... along with the full line of Mobil1 and Pennzoil products, as well as Mobil1 and K&N oil filters, depending which WalMart you go to here...

Well today while I was driving down the highway, my car decided to completely disengage from any gear that it was told to go into. Doing 50mph and all it would do was rev up as the car started slowing down till it finally decided to get into 2nd gear.

Any ideas on that one? A few friends think it might be the stall converter.

How could that be fixed? Just changing the tranny oil?

It stayed out of any gear for about a min. or so as it started going down in speed.

the royal purple people say NOT to use their trans fluid in ANY dodge/chrystler so i wouldn't try it if i were you... and if the flush and fill doesn't solve the problem then you are going to need to have the torque converter and the syncros checked... which in the end it would just be cheaper to get yourself a new 3 or 4 spd auto trans with a hell of a lot less miles on it
