Default Stereo Question

Hey i have a question that might be dumb but oh well. I just bought an '04 Neon "silver Bullet" and i want to hook up some subs, i just bought it and i dont want to take out the stock stereo. how can i hook up subs and amp to it and will it sound like garbage if i do it

Try Crutchfield.com, they sell speaker to rca converters. They are by no means as good as RCA's from the radio, but are you only option without replacing the factory radio.

Yep, and you gonna need to splice into the rear speakers wiring with them. Replacing the head unit is easy as pie and only takes around 15 minutes to do and all you need is a phillips head screw driver to do it. Get the head unit, installation kit, antenna adapter and wiring harness adapter, after you get the install kit set up right and the wiring harness adapter wired up to the head units wiring harness, it only takes 15 minutes to swap out the factory stereo with the new one. Then you can run the RCA's from the head unit all the way back to the amp.

im my opinion id take out the stock sterio and get a aftermarket one with SUB CONTROL. It will sound alout better with it.

This is true, but some people like to leave the stock look. The speaker level to rca adapters are not that bad especially for subs.
